RISK MANAGEMENT
Risks come in many different forms and from many
directions. Assessing and controlling risk is supposed to be at the heart of managing business. Whilst insurance and financial
controls are important factors in risk management, they alone will not protect you and your business. For example they will
not protect you or your business totally against loss of production, death and injury from accidents/incidents in the work
place, or criminal charges as a result of failing to meet current legal requirements.
Occupational Health and Safety
To the non-trained eye and to businesses that are trying to get on with the everyday job of running
a business H&S is an unwanted overhead but with the correct advice and assistance it can become as easy to manage as any
other part of the business, our services include: auditing, inspections, investigations, management systems, risk assessments
and training. In addition we provide:
Construction Health and Safety
Independent Planning Supervision meeting the requirements of CDM, audit and inspections and development of policies and procedures. In addition
we carry out site inspections, audits and provide personnel for site safety officer positions during construction and demolition
projects.
Fire
All businesses
are supposed to carry out assessments of the fire risks in their premises. This includes current precautions, means
of escape and identification of high risk areas.
Business Contingency Planning
This can include H&S, fire and security. Firstly there is a need to look at
your business and identify the threats and then calculate the level of risk that those threats pose to your business. Once the level of risk has been calculated plans can be developed which dovetail with
your business requirements.
Training
In order that you and your staff fully
understand the legal and operational requirements of Health and Safety regulations, fire precautions, and business contingency
planning, training is a must. Tailored to the needs
of your organisation, training can, dependant on subject, be class room based or through interactive training software, including:-
